A Message from Colorado Veterans Project:

There are many challenges that we as a community have tackled the past year and a half. In 2020, we regretfully we had to cancel all of our in-person events. We were able to transition our Run events to virtual events, but the Parade & Festival, we had no other option but to cancel all together. This year, we got creative to make this event possible. With the rise in the Delta variant and the closure of Civic Center Park, we decided to pivot to an open “all-in-one” event for the Parade & Festival to enable social distancing.

Denver Veterans Day Parade & Festival

Saturday, November 6, 2021 10 AM – 3 PM • 16th Street Mall

Join us as we host Denver’s first “Stationary Parade”! Instead of parade participants marching in streets surrounding Civic Center Park as in past years, our redesigned stationary format along 16th Street Mall will enable spectators to walk freely amongst Veteran participants and era-specific vehicle displays. This will allow us to maintain social distancing, but also allow more time to talk and learn about our Veterans and their stories. This family-friendly event offers FREE admission, a music stage, kids & family activities, military displays, vendors, and a wide variety of local restaurants.
